Information and Communication Technology (ICT) plays a very important roles in development, operation and sustainability of a knowledge based society. As such the Sarawak State government is totally committed in the promotion of the development and application of the ICT in the State. As ICT affect us, every individual also plays a role to develop knowledgeable communities through and the state so that all of us can exploit and take advantage of ICT and benefit from the grains and fruits of electronic government and the knowledge economy. The Majlis Adat Istiadat Sarawak transformed itself into electronic government in order to provide quality service such as delivery system to the public. ICT skills is therefore no longer a luxury but a necessity, and if you do not have ICT skills in today's work environment, you are "illiterate". The State public sector needs a literate, innovative and creative people that has ICT literacy, and skills so as to be able to provide all major services on line and accessible to anybody, anywhere and anytime with an internet access. Majlis Adat Istiadat Sarawak is one of the government agencies that use ICT to integrate and consolidate government work process. We hope to improve further and to be one of ICT literacy department.
